Description
Some objects are meant to be taken out, used, and put away. Others are made to remain on display — and quietly transform the atmosphere of a room.
The Havana Backgammon Set belongs to the latter. Its brown burl-effect leather case opens with the distinctive click of polished brass hardware, signaling that the game is about to begin. Inside, the anthracite playing surface softens the sound of the dice, creating the muted, almost felted sound found only in finely crafted sets.
The stitched two-tone brown and ivory points bring depth and character to the board in a way a printed surface simply cannot replicate. Refined in its details and timeless in its presence, Havana is as much an object to display as it is a game to play.
